73 electra for parts

Parting out 73 Electra Limited 4 door 45k miles original owner car. Green exterior and green interior. Many good parts still avaiable. Excellent drivers mirror. AM-FM stereo radio. Backup light housing if it's not cracked or super yellow

Passenger side lower vent (under the dash) if the mounting holes aren't broken

Electra 225 quarter emblems if not broken (if it's a Limited than it's not what I need)

Any weatherstripping that's still intact

Left side dash insert, depending on options (fake wood piece where the light switch mounts)

Possibly some bigger stuff too when it comes time to scrap it.

 

Dibs on steering column if tilt-equipped, bonus if dark green in color! Also clock if so equipped. PM sent.

 

Idle stop solenoid & bracket if available and working (?), cruise control transducer.o No:

Tilt with cruise & medium green I guess with a perfect steering wheel. Also have clock but does not work well. Will pm.

Solenoid is gone already as is the transducer. Thanks for looking.

 

4 hour drive each way is a bit much for me at the moment. I'll save that for when I get the really big parts :laugh: Now if you know of an old VW Beetle for sale in the area it would make the drive more worth while. Girlfriend is trying to snag an old Super Beetle to play with.

If they are the same parts as a '73 Estate wagon (I think they are), I could use the entire front end and both front doors.

I'm broke but do have a truck maybe we could work something out? I needs good bumpers and chrome for mine...OK I also need a hood, fenders, door hinges, etc etc etc

I know I'd love to do that but I was telling Alan hat I just changed jobs and my pay schedule is still settling out, I went from weekly to every 2 weeks and due to the change in employment I basically lost a weeks pay so I've been playing catchup....this sucks too 'cause 3 months ago I would have been all over it, now I can't even make offers on parts

Still alot of good parts available. Will have it for a couple of weeks before it is gone.

 

Another week or two & it has to go. Perfect green front & rear seats! Real nice grille & bumpers, fender skirts, mint drivers mirror, nice hub caps, real nice headlight doors. No rust on this car!

 

John, I'd love to have the bumpers and mirror (and the steering Column) I just don't have any money to spend right now.....I can trade you a 1969 Offy 360 for the big block.....I wish I was closer to you as I would figure out how to get the whole car as mine is very rusty

 

I'm running over to pick at the car sometime next week. If there's something you need let me know and maybe I can work out a trade if you can't work one with John. I may fight you over some of the parts though:Brow:
