The only pics I have right now are not digital. This car is REALLY rusty though. The vin tag in the windshield is rusted in half. I will probably just keep the eng. and trans for my son's project 70. I tried to take dig. pics of the pics I have but they are too big to load and I don't know how to resize them. The car is stored away from my home at this time so I won't get to take pics for a while. DOC

1977 Buick Skyhawk with DL1 Hawk Accent Stripe Package This car has just over 10k original miles. Thanks! Odd fire V6.
It looks really nice, That must be one of the lowest mileage SkyHawks in the word! Was the even fire 231 introduced later in 1977? There is a '79 SkyHawk for sale in my region. It looks nice from the outside and it has the glass roof, power locks and a/c but the undercarriage apparently needs repairs. I wish I had more time, space and money to spend on this one but I do prefer the older model with quad headlights like yours.
Phil, thanks! I have read that the even fire was first introduced in 77. My car was made in Dec. of 76. The first owners husband died just after buying the car (she kept it for 27 years) that is why the mileage is so low. The second owner had it just over a year and I've owned since July 05. I really like the glass roof option but agree with you that the four headlight cars look better. There is no doubt these cars like to rust. There is a glass roof Roadhawk on a H body site I visit. I have seen owners pictures of the Free Spirit, Nighthawk, Roadhawk but none of the Designer Accent Hawk. Here is a pic of one (I think it has a glass roof also but its hard to tell from this pic) Back in the day it was hard to pick up a magazine that didn't have an H body in it. You just don't see them much anymore. Here is a glass roof Skyhawk that was at the Buick Horsepower Nationals in Indianapolis. Brian
