It's time for the tunes for my son's 1st car. We have all of the interior out and we need some speaker ideas. Anybody put in front kick panel speakers? Any ideas would be helpful. We are thinking about a CD deck, front kick panel speakers, rear 6x9's and a 10" sub with an amp in the trunk. Trying to keep everything as original as possible. Mark.
Re:Speaker locations I put two mids,and one tweeter in my kick panels along with one more tweeter up in the corner of my windshields.The kick panels I fabricated from stock with a little fiberglass ,2 kool whip bowls,and particle board, then I wrapped them in leather with speaker cloth over the tops(optional you could use the supplied grille covers)they look nice and have been in the car for two years without problems....I can't find the pics but if you need I can get a couple shots, let me know good luck on your project my son and I did alot of work together on this one(especially the music/tv monitors......)
