I wasn't sure where to post this, because there's no price. A friend of mine has a 72 Skylark convertible he's been going to restore for years, but now it's quit running and he wants to get rid of it. He inherited it from an aunt who bought it new in New Jersey, and it's all original except for the engine and possibly the trans, 350 with TH350. As you can see from the photo, it's pretty rough, some dents, but not a huge amount of rust. Top and interior are completely shot. I tried to buy it a few years ago, and the engine and trans seemed pretty good, and the only driving he's done since is move it from one side of the street to the other. He doesn't want his phone number or e-mail posted publicly, so if there's any interest PM me and I'll give you those so you can contact him directly. I have no money interest, just doing a favor for a good guy. The car is in the Los Angeles area and would have to be transported or some work done on the electrical system to get it running.

Owner is asking $2,000. He is replacing bad distributor so it will be running. Can e-mail more photos to anyone interested.

A few more details and pics. Floor and trunk solid, fenders, quarters and doors solid except for some rust near rocker panel and wheel well. Some dents, but no crumpling. Top frame works, but header bow has quite a bit of rust. Surface rust on bumpers, rear straight, front bent. I think owner will listen to reasonable offers.
