72 skylark bolt pattern? 5x4.5" or 5x4.75"

    ive searched on the online calculators etc, couldnt find it. just want to know the pattern and offset in mm

    ALL A body cars are 5 on 4.75 :TU: full size cars 5 on 5 :eek2: I have never seen a 5 on 4.5 on a GM unless some one has a 9" ford rear

    Concerning bolt patterns...
    Ken, you've got to ck out a stock or street/strip '63 Pontiac LeMans sometime. All '61-63 Pontiac Tempests & LeMans had 4.5" bolt pattern wheels from the factory. Like many early GM cars, wheel studs on lh side of these Tempests were lh thread & wheel studs on rh side were rh thread. Can still remember snapping off a few stock wheel studs on my '63 first time I tried to remove the rear wheels, dolp :grin:

    how much does the size of the rim affect backspacing? im in canada and was intothe tuner scene im used to offsets instead of backspacing lol just want the educated info to buy some nice chrome 19's in rear and 17's in front...thanks
