Nice car, but for that kind of money he should have dropped the extra 1-2k at the beginning and started with a GS. If he had done that, there might be a chance of getting 22k out of it. As the car sits now, a really nice skylark, I don't see that happening. But you never know...

I emailed the gentleman a few questions: He doesn't know the what size the rearend 8.2 or 8.5 and isn't sure if it has a posi unit. He says it appraised for $17000.00 before he had the engine rebuilt. He says the engine is out of a 70GS/GSX and that makes it a Stage1. If he can sell his clone for this much anyone else better start buying old skylarks.:blast: Patrick
