What year is it????? Car has a 72 hood molding, but the grill and headlight bezel's are 1971 pieces. Please, PLEASE, be extremely careful with that precious 71 GS grill hanging out in the open just waiting to get broken:ball:
Does that 72 GS 455 have anyother options? Buckets/console, gauges, sport wheel? I agree with Tom, be very very careful with the 71 grille. In fact, I think you should take it off the car and put it in the trunk or something.
I'VE NEVER HAD THIS GS455 ON EBAY BEFORE! I posted a 72 White GS350 (Original 4-speed car (now a 400 turbo) on Ebay twice before, Not selling the first time and the 2nd Time it Sold and wasn't paid for. I have never posted this GS455 on EBAY before and I've owned it for 6 months! The 72 GS350 above is also on Ebay till 10/19 with a Min. Bid of $100 as it must go, no room for it.
Other Options Car is being stored in VA. for me as I'm in FL. Thanks for your concerns and yes I realize it's a 71 Grill. It Isn't being moved and will be removed, when I bring it to FL, if it doesn't sell. Has front Discs, Ram Air Cleaner, was a Vinyl Top car. Not sure on gauges, will check for you. I HAD TO PART ONE 72 GS350 out, SURE AS HELL HOPE I DON"T HAVE TO PART THIS ONE OUT, BECAUSE IT DOESN"T SELL!! I'm sure I'll keep it first! Dick
I believ I have seen this car on there also. Sure looks like the same car. I hope the people where you are storing it at has not tried to sell it for you, or actually for them. But it is definately familiar looking. Mike
Is that really a 71 GS grill or a 71 Skylark grill? Ive been staring at the pic but its a little fuzzy. I cant make out the little egg crate design. Can anyone else weigh in on this? Jason
I think it is a skylark grille but can;t tell for sure. If it was a GS grille probrably would have already sold it.
The FL. GS Club Members SAY IT"S A 71 GS Grill. They say it's a 71 GS Grill. It's not sold (the grill), because I've had to PART OUT ONE GS350 when it didn't sell and I don't want to have to PART OUT A GS455! Car has a low reserve, A LOT lower than I can PART IT OUT FOR! Just would like to see someone RESTORE IT, seeing I can't right now! Plus it's a pain to part out!
Anyone know who used to own or have any history of this car? Here is a 2003 before photo and now 2013 photo, I purchased the car in 2014. George
