    I have two of these for sale...BOTH are L side tailight rubbers (Driver Side)

    1) The first one is VERY CLEAN. The black rubber isn't cut up, gouged, etc and it's very smooth. The backside is also very clean. The metal insert has some surface rust along the bottom but not heavy, scaly, etc. Along the top the metal insert is nice and clean. ALL STUDS ARE INTACT AND IN VERY NIC CONDITION.
    There is one very small chip or pit in the rubber (approx 1/16 - 1/8" diameter) in the bottom inside corner of this tailight rubber.

    I wouldn't hesitate to put this one on a car I was going to show. Maybe not in the Top Flight Concours type classes but I don't think it would get any bad looks in the regular show field.

    $35 + shipping for this one

    2)The second one. A nice driver quality piece. The rubber isn't as nice as the first one. It has a slight bit of the rubber scratched out on the lower L hand inside corner (an area approx 1/2" x 1/8")...not a huge or real deep gouge but it's there. The rubber seemed to have pulled away a little from the metal backer on a 6" length on the backside...I cleaned it thoroughly and glued the rubber back down onto the steel insert. The metal insert on the backside...had the typical surface rust and I beadblasted it all off and shot over the metal with black Zero Rust paint. Overall, the metal insert was pretty darn clean but it had some pittiing and surface rust along the bottom half of the insert. ALL STUDS ARE VERY NICE WITH VERY NICE THREADS.

    $20+shipping for this one

    I can send detail pics if you want them..just let me know. If you buy either of these and don't think I described them correctly just ship them back and I'll refund your money.

    Thanks

    Sorry Scott--only have this one and it's for a 1972. I didn't realize '71 cars used the tailight rubber surrounds.

    Thanks

    <Center>pglade,

    Actually its the gasket seal that goes in the detent of the Lens and plastic socket of the lights.
    Moisture is getting into my lens area.
    To help solve this problem of corrosion on the light sockets and make them last;
    I've installed LED's in the tail lens housing, but doesn't solve the problem of the moisture getting in. Just prolonging it..."Know What I mean?"

    Solves some of the corrosion though...
    Need new rubber seals. Good ones @ that.

    Thanks!
