No fair, Chris, you got a week's head start, before I can "unbury" mine (from all the parts that I've collected on it), to disassemble, too! :beer It's really scary how "identical" your car and my car are! Same color, same condition, same year, a lot of the "same"! :eek2: I've also decided to do the restoration, myself, first to save some cost, and second, to make sure that it's done the way that I want it done! :Smarty: If there's anything I may be able to help you with, Chris, please let me know, as I appreciate your offers to me with restoration assistance! :bglasses: What are your plans for the car? Restore it to Original? Keeping the 350 or replacing with a 455? Details? :TU:
It will be cheaper in the long run to part that one and find a rust free car or at least one with minimal rust.
man u are in need of a lot of sheetmetal, a torch, a mig welder, and an english wheel and most of all patience. good luck !!!
Yeah i know part it out and start with somthin else but its not as bad as it looks, and i'm doing the work myself so that keeps the cost down, anyway i bought it for my fiance so i'm stuck doing it. She wont let me get rid of it.It only needs a little TLC and she'll be back on the road ou: :TU: I haven't decided on the details yet i want to get the metal work done first but i'm not a concours guy so you can assume some tasteful and functional mods along the way.I'd love to make it a 350 4speed car if i can come up with the 350 stuff to do it we'll see what happens :TU:
