I've listed a batch of stuff on ebay.
    Here

Before you say it...... YES, my prices are steep.
I don't really want to get rid of the stuff, and if I'm going to, I'm going to get top dollar for it.
High starting prices also tend to reduce the number of "tire kicker idiot" emails I get from potential bidders. If they don't sell, I'll keep them. Their value is only going to go up.
And the cash will go towards a good cause....Any profit I make from certain parts will go towards lowering the bottom dollar price on my 67 for sale. :(

PS.. and Rob, those aren't the 67 wheel well mouldings I bought from you. Yours are going on my convertible. Hopefully this summer! :Brow:
These are the ones I was going to put on my race car. But after thinking about it, I assume my wheel wells will be "radiused" so they won't work anyways without major modifications.

PSS... I will pay for HALF the shipping charges myself for any BPG member that buys any of this stuff. Please remind me of this offer if you win an auction, and be sure to provide your BPG membership number in your emails.

    Rick,
I wouldn't let the banter bother me about selling things for your cars on ebay.If I came across another 71 GS grille like Dustin had,I too would hold out for the maximum price.I have a theory that is this,When the complainers start buying the parts to get my cars done, then they will be within their right to bitch about my prices.I am not a rich man and sometimes I have to sell things at a premium to get the deserved things my cars need.I have been watching your 71 post car with some disgust. That looked like a decent driver and everyone was willing to buy your parts but not be bothered to get the whole car as a deal. This is one of the problems our hobby goes through.I know because 10-12 years ago,I had to part out a 68 GS 400 4 speed.I guess I looked at it this way,My kids were and always will be first. So,I had to part out a real decent driver to pay for food and bills.PLEASE DO NOT BE ASHAMED TO GET WHAT YOUR PARTS ARE WORTH BECAUSE,WE ALL WOULD DO THE SAME IN YOUR SITUATION.I'm done ranting now.

    Hi Rick,

I agree with Pat's post. "everybody does have to eat". Good luck on ebay, Buicks are special limited parts supply and as many have been saying for years parts wells are drying up, that being said prices don't seem that bad. I hope you sell the 71 as well. :beer Ebay's great isn't it

    Thanks guys
It seems that parts are where it's at anymore. Lots of complaints about parting out cars, but you see it everywhere.
A recent example right here on the board in the cars for sale area.....
A running, driving, 66 Skylark with a meager asking price of $1000 OBO, and within 1 day the seller was asked twice about selling parts off it, and so far has been asked 0 times about the car as whole car.
    :Do No:

But... as far as my 71 goes.....
It's looking real close to being sold as a whole car. As of last night, I have 3 "pretty interested" parties. One of which was supposed to come get it this weekend but didn't get the funds rounded up in time. It's getting interesting to say the least.

    Rick,

I think that your prices are very fair for the parts that you have listed. Unfortunately, I don't need any of them.

    Thanks LaMarr
It seems that nobody else needs them either. :Dou:

Oh well. Like I said, most of it is stuff I really don't want to sell anyways. If it doesn't sell, I'll gladly hang onto it. :)
