I cannot open that link either as it appears that one requires an AOL account.

Very nice car, but I think at this time, unless you get someone who has money to blow, even at 75K it might sit around for a while.

Are there any places to advertise this beautifully restored stage 1 convertible that will do it justice?

I know I can't get all of my money back but just trying to find somewhere to try and get some reasonable offers.

If you can wait 'til January, take it to Scottsdale (BJ, Russo&Steele, RM) or March to Palm Beach (BJ). That '69 Stage ragtop that brought $125K+ in PB was nice, but not of the caliber of your car. Although the market is "correcting" exceptional cars are still bringing, and will continue to bring, strong money. People recognize that you can't buy a rare car and take it to this level for $100K.

That is a good idea but I am trying to stay away from the time and expense involved in getting the car across the country and the fees involved in auctions, hotels, plane flights plus they auction company wants to pick and choose which cars they will accept.

I'm sure that is the way to get a high dollar for the car but it also cost high dollars to get it. I would prefer to sell it through a more conventional way.
