http://www.cars.com Hopefully that link works. I just got off the phone with the guy, the car is available. It runs and drives, has good brakes and a new exhaust. Just had new floor pans installed, but he said there's some minor rust issues that still need to be tended to. If I had the cash available now I'd buy it, but I've got to wait till the end of Febuary.. Said is has new dual exhaust as well. If anyone is near Ramey, PA I'd love to hear how the car looks in person. Call the number listed, nice guy. He is willing to let others come out and look at it.
To its credit it has a correct ram air snorkel and an N-25. Even if it is 4 different colors, it looks like a great head start.
Damn, wish it was closer to me. I don't per se` "need" it, but I would find a place to store it until I could get to it.
Anybody close by that could check this out for a fellow board member? I know someone who is looking (not me) but isn't on the board much. PM me please! Thanks Chris
I'd love to know more about the car if someone checks it out. Can help put towards expense for gas too. :TU:
If not just swapped panels it has power windows... I think it is a real GS. Disc brakes and gauge package are less common in Skylarks (I think). Lots of interior stuff gone which might indicate a big swap project took place or was an unfinished project that someone got going to sell. Pontiac buckets? No back seat. Warped package tray. In spite of all that I like it! Could be a hidden treasure since other parts go with it (mystery parts!). Check out that intake!
Oh its a real GS alright, its even a V code car. Almost identical twin to the Sunburst yellow car I sold to Danielle and Tom Miller. Built 1 week later at the same plant. Cool!!
In reading Mike's statement that it is a V code car, and then reading his signature line, I think it is a safe guess it has been. :eek2:
