Just redid the old dash with rebuilt gauges out of a 72 gs. The old gauges were rally gauges which need to be rebuilt so i did this for the short term. Clock and speedo work great but the fuel gauge doesnt light with the dash. The dimmer switch controls the warning lights instead of the backlighting. Any ideas, or is this an internal problem with the gauge itself?ou:
Re: 72 gauges in 70 buick gs 455...nevermind um....nevermind....seems the 72 gauges just needed to be grounded with a seperate wire. I actually took the new lens and bulbs out of the 72 and reused my original and it looks awesome.
