Please pass this information on to anyone you may know who would be interested in this car. This add was on the board before but I've lowered the price. I'm trying to sell a 1972 Convertible Buick Skylark with GS options. If anyone is interested the link below will show you the car. I didn't finish putting everything back on the car so anything missing in the pics I have in the garage (chrome, gauges, headlights, etc).

Also, I'd appriciate any feedback anyone may have to offer on the car.

  2. Hi-

Do you have ALL parts to finish interior, top, weatherstripping; hood scoops? Are the bumpers rechromed? What did the engine and trans come from; how many miles on them...? Did the car have A/C? What will it take to get it on the road?

    Thanks,

    rich

    Nice car.

Asking price is fair and it looks like an easy one to finish up and enjoy.

Is there any rust issues or bondo in it.

    Price Reduction $6000.00

This car did come with AC. Don't know if it works. There is no rust on the car. The body shop used horse hair to make a few minor repairs to the following areas:
    - a small area in the trunk floor
    - the rear right hand side of the floor under the
    passenger seat

Other than that the car was pretty rust free when I got it. The car came from California and I have the shipping papers to prove it.

I bought the car without a title but have obtained A CLEAN TITLE from the California DMV.

To finish the car off it needs the followng:
    - the gauges & bezel reinstalled
    - the dash put back on
    - the GS Steering Wheel put on
    - the door panels, handles, window crank and arm rest put
    back on
    - the carpet installed
    - the chrome trim around the windshield put back on
    - a tune up
    - a new top put on

I AM SUPPLYING EVERYTHING EXECPT THE NEW TOP. THE CAR COMES WITH THE FOLLOWING:

-Brand new carpet kit and padding (still in the box)
-Brand new window felt kit (still in the box)
-everything mentioned above execpt the new top

Last but not least I'm lowering the price again to $6000.00!! I really need to sell this car. Please pass this info on to anyone you know who is interested. I need to sell ASAP!

    Thanks

    Continued

I forgot to mention the weather strip kit for the doors and trunk. Also, I think the engine and trans came out of a 73 but I'm not sure. The car has not been registered since 1990 so there shouldn't be any miles on the engine and trans. My brother and I bought this car from someone who was in the process of putting this car back together. He did the engine, trans, rear end, suspension and then stopped due to problems with his wife. I bought the car because everything it needed I already had (new fenders, GS Hood, Trunk w Spoiler, GS Steering Wheel, Nice Clean gauges w bezel, rip free interior. I bought the rest of the items mentioned like the carpet, weather stripping, etc and was going to finish the car BUT I'm in a cash crunch so its gotta go. Anyone who buys this car will benefit from what was has already been done.
