MONTHS AGO, I spent an entire day trying to convince this guy his car is not really a good restoration candidate...holes everywhere where the vinyl top used to be...floors rusty, trunk rusty... for some reason he is convinced he will sell this car for his asking price. I told him he is no less than 50% unrealistic on his price. I made him, what I THOUGHT WAS REASONABLE OFFER. . . $1200...YOU decide!:

Yeah, we've had some major inflation in that time. It takes more to buy the same. I just noticed that at the grocery store and the gas station today.
