Someone told me that a '72 Buick Electra has "camelback" heads. Is this so? What does this mean in terms of engine quality? Thanks for any info.
Camel back heads are a reference to CHEVY heads. The person who told you that has no clue what he's talking about. Dont allow him to work on your car!
Smartin What that refers to is when they recast the blocks midway down the head they went from a single hump (scallop) to a double hump (scallop). Thus the name camel back heads. It was just a structural or design change.
