Thanks for the complement. No offence taken. Stage 1 conversions are not cheap. Waiting to hear from GSXER....
Thanks, Just call Mike at AM&P. He will handle it for me. 1-888-624-3848 Guess I waited long enough. You got the deal. Tell Mike I approved it on v8buick in writing for $600 total including shipping. ...thanks again.
Well, my .02 listing shows these heads a service replacement for both non and stage specs. Also the only service head replacement #recognised by nhra as sr stage and #'s correct for '70. Sold over the counter, but only as a service replacement, not for the "performance only" customer. Used in dealerships as replacement for 1970 stage ones and still be era correct. Smaller chambers, but the 2 sets I have, have more unshrouding than the ones you picture, more similar to that of '1786 unshrouding. Those look like '0149 non stage that someone put big valves in. Just like the 1970 '1786 heads could be non or stage. These look converted w/o unshrouding. Still a nice set of heads with minimal seat recession, and a good valve set to boot! Way cheaper than aluminums, thats for sure!
