dyno time I think the people at MAGNAFLOW were interested in HP difference with my old exhaust and their new system. They hooked it up to run and shift itself, the way I read these charts, my first time reading these kind of charts, it looks like it is up to 275 HP by 4000 and it shows 282 HP at the rear wheels at 4300 RPM, it stays about like that until it shifts at about 4400. It looks like 376 ft-lbs torque at 3500 RPM. I talked to the guys that built my motor and they say the numbers are so low because they just let it shift like that. These guys told me I should be running it up a lot more before shifting. I don't know because when I have been racing people I have been letting it shift on it's own, my tack is even redlined at 4500 becuse it never seems to go past that. I've been beating a lot of stuff so it didn't bother me yet. Maybe I am just racing slow cars. The thing seems to launch real well though. Today I mailed a copy of these charts to the guys that built the motor, I will get back with them in a day or two. I was surprised at the low numbers because it seems to run pretty well to me. exhaust Bill, check out MAGNAFLOW.COM, they are in Rancho Santa Margarita, So. Cal. They have a good web site, and, this car is on it. I am sure they sell this system now, this was just a final test for bends at the bumper. They had everything else done. I don't think the dyno was impressive for my motor but it does show a 15 HP difference. And, it looks good.
