Hello all, I went to order new BLACK front & rear seat covers and headliner from year one today for my 71 skylark custom . They told me 4-6 weeks and it comes from legendary. SO :TU: I called legendary and they told me 3-4 weeks and thier prices were much higher direct. Legendary told me that year one maybe getting the stuff from PUI which legendary says is no way near the quality of theirs. Does anyone have any experience in this area and or suggestions? :TU: :beers2:
Year Ones catalog is wrong as well. They list Premier Perforated for a 71 and my original as well as all others I have seen from 71 were Premier non perforated style.
Nothing wrong with PUI....I use them all the time and never had a problem. Just a note: Use Y1 as a means of last resort....they tend to have the highest prices and their shipping charges are outrageous! Postons. Check with Postons, they may have the parts you need in stock. The shipping is actual cost, not jacked up. Prices are competitive also. You can ask them if it is PUI or Legendary. George is right, some of the stuff I got from OPG last year was Legendary and some was PUI. Looked the same to me. Bert
