71 ram air for $150 in Racine!

This ram air Buick GS air cleaner is in good condition but needs sanding and new paint. One of the corners has a small break in it but could be eaisly repaired or left as is. The air cleaner came off a 1971 GS 350 but is the same as the GS 455. Asking $150.00. Call Don at 262-886-8727.

 

What's it worth? I saw it listed but didn't call yet.

 

IMO it is easily worth that. I would think with a little sanding and painting probably double that. heck, maybe even double that as is.

 

Ya, sounds about right, saw one on ebay, guy wants $685! That seems a little high though!

I saw this too. It seems like a decent price to me.
I was thinking of picking it up to fix on a rainy day.

 

ya, all the ones iv seen range 250-300 typically, and that one looks to be in pretty decent condition!

Here is my before and after. Only cost was $25 for new foam seals, $3 for new tubes and clamps, $8 sticker, $8 can of paint, and some sand paper/blocks.

 

Looks great! Maybe I'll get this one and clean her up.
