I have a 71 Skylark Custom with Dark Blue interior. I put in front buckets and have the original cloth and vinyl back seat. I would like to replace all of my covers but I see that they do not make a dark blue seat cover for 71. Will the 70 dark blue metallic covers work or will the metallic cause a problem?o No: I'm not looking to be correct just want to replace my torn seats.:TU: Thank you
They will work but may not look correct. New never matches old in any color anyway. Blue bbucket were not available in 71 I believe.
Thanks Dave. They don't have to match perfectly as long as they are better than my ripped up black ones i have now :grin: Yah everything I found points to no Blue buckets in 71. Mine was originally blue cloth and vinyl bench. I figured if I could use the 70's I could do them my self and save money compared to taking it to a shop to have them done.:Brow:
