Hmmm does look incorrect.....After looking at it for a bit I also wonder about the seat in the car as it does not have the drop down arm rest... hmmmm odd.
It definitely has an incorrect radio - letters on the pushbuttons were not used in the 1970s. Love the super sport wheels on the car though:TU:
He says its just the angle of the pictures, its kind of shaded funny and looks a little off. Car is all original and the paint is true, matches perfect. he didn't realize the radio had been replaced. He bought the car about two months ago from his 89 year old neighbor - he purchased it new off the showroom floor at Qua Buick in Cleveland. he bought it for his son from him and his wife said no way - too old and no airbags. Title is still original and in his name - so from that standpoint he considers it a one owner -- He has only had it a few months - has a Buick collector that's supposed to be there tomorrow to buy it -
>>Yes, those are the rare Buick super sport rims - that style was available in 1971 and discontinued sometime in 1972.
Was the shell painted in Fisher Body and then the front clip added later in final assembly? I've seen front clip mismatch in the past.
Yes, exactly correct. An original car will often display this effect. Late model G-bodies suffer the exact same malady, as their bodies were built at Fisher Body in Flint and final assembly was in Pontiac, MI.
I Think the reason I like thoughs Super Sport Rims is the same reason I like Buicks in general... There just different but cool :TU: Chris if you need a set of these rims I have a extra set I picked up about a year ago just for the centers to make a set like you had on your old car. The 71 GS vert I have has a set on it so I dont need the extra set anymore. PM me if your interested in them :beer

I have the custom set on my Buick and a stock set of five for God knows what as I only have one Buick!
