'71 GS Total Front Suspension Rebuild: How Difficult for the DIY'er at Home?

    I ended up using a spring compressor to bring it way down, then I put a jack under the control arm to get it a little closer to level so the lower tail of the spring would not catch on the shock hole. Then, a friend and I both used our feet on it and it snapped into place. Had to do a little clocking to get the tail into the right spot in the control arm groove.
