See now I like that one also. Though the black inside pieces (on the one I listed ) really makes the front grille stand out from the rest of the car. I will give this some hard thought and I will post my results. Thanks alot Guys!!! :3gears: Randy

Hypothetically, what would one expect to pay for a paint with some minor work needed??I have my 71 GS grille thats nice shape but it does ave a small dime size piece missing on the upper piece and a piece of mesh thats broken out(but I have a repair grille section available)

You say you have pieces for a doner, are you looking for some one to do the work for you? Or are you willing to do the work yourself.
If you are willing to do the work yourself its just time. I can give you some glues that I used in my repair. The cutting, I used a copeing saw and a horizontal band saw for the big areas. If you only have a small area to fix, I would do it yourself. Just make sure you cut your pieces, (from the doner grille), bigger then you need. Use a belt sander to take the piece down to your desired size. I'm painting my with spray bomb, but if I did want this show quality I would give this to the pros. There is alot of good painters out there on this forum. I am not one of them, sorry. But I can help you with restoring the plastic. Hope this helps Randy :TU:

The pro on here is Dave Tumas (Daves69) . He does concours quality work whether it be repairs or painting. He did the 71 pic he posted above for Duane, a concours judge. Ask Duane about the quality.
