Wheel/tire combo doesn't work for me but look, it has an extremely rare Tri-Shield on its front bumper.............https://chicago.craigslist.org/wcl/cto/d/1970-buick-wildcat-convertible/6528389653.html
AS noted, this is one of the repop front emblems. The woodgrain on the dash is awful. The color exterior color is off as well. I think this car may be a 20 footer and certainly not worth anywhere near the admission price. Oh, and no power window's is a buzzkill for sure
I can understand for a purest how some of the shortcomings would be a turn off but other than the engine & compartment the car looks very nice. If the car checks out considering what body, paint & interior work costs today I don't think its unfairly priced.
I like the more modern burlwood look of the dash trim...taste is subjective. I'm not crazy about the simulated wood trim Buick was so fond of back then.
True I lucky found a NOS housing and emblem on e bay a few years back Installed it for the BPG meet in Columbus And it was so brittle it broke ...... I bought the emblem magic repop housing after that and used the nos emblem Scott
It's a very pretty car. Love the colour, and the interior colour. Works with the lines of the car. Don't care much for the applique on the dash, but that's easily changed. I much prefer the brushed steel look the 69 had. Wheels; again, an easy fix. What's too bad is that it's a low option car and that the owner didn't finish the detailing. Did he run out of money which is why he's selling it now?
I just don't understand IF your going to the extent of making the outside pretty and the interior pretty, WHY cant they at least by a couple cans of black paint and clean up the engine bay. The motor itself seems freshly painted. A pretty car with a horrible engine bay will turn me off so quick.
