Seems like that should have bought it...obviously not a very motivated seller. Bet he wanted 100. Personally, I like what he did with the car but at the same time he took it away from being a top dollar car.
I am surprised it did so well. That would have been a buy it and drive it price at 81k. The buyers spoke. The car is neither here or there. If the body work isn't top notch , it would be a very expensive project car.
So who's car is this? 140k. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1970-Buick...90&algv=DiscV2&_trksid=p2332490.c100172.m2966
Passenger door looks like it was repainted. Perhaps the shocks look a little goofy, but I can understand what he was trying to replicate. Regardless, it does look like a nice car.
I don't know Randy, the ad says it came with 15" wheels. If that's true then it wouldn't have had spirals, anyways. It's a nice car, but for that kind of money it should have bias plies...it almost looks to me like the wheel has a stitched cover on it. Maybe some sheik or actor, or sports star will buy it. I can't see either of these 2 X's being worth that much. Both cars are nice, and desirable. I know the X's are the cream of the crop, but they made a LOT of them. The flipping stuff has kind of run it's course at this point, I think. I don't think either car is at a realistic price point for the market.
As for the yellow car, I am sure he is basing his price on what the three yellow X's have sold for at auction over the past year
i’d like to see an original trim tag comparison to the one on this car. Paint code looks a little bit suspicious to me
Trying to figure out why the 00 3. 42 gear rear should be an ON 364 gear rear and oh and is not on the axle tube Lol. Not seeing a Wayne Roberts report either.
