    Wanted Stage 1

I am looking for a good 70' Stage 1 to buy but will consider other years. I want a numbers matching car with paper work that is a very good weekend driver/local show condition car or better. Would like to find a 4 speed but an auto is OK. Also would like to find one near Virginia or on the east coast.

There is a silver one on e-bay now with no reserve in Indiana and a guy named Ernie has one for sale here on the board.

What is your price range. I may know of a very nice one coming up for sale in your area.

Ernie's Stage 1 is in very good condition. I have seen the car myself and I was going to buy it when he decided to sell it, however, I found one before then. Ernie's a great guy and very honest when it comes to his cars. Maybe this will help you out.

I think there is one on e-bay right now.

Chris posted it about two days ago.
PDXMike also has one he may be willing to sell. It is all numbers matching
but needs a restoration. But it is all there and ready for a going over.
Its an automatic with a console I believe. I saw it at his shop a couple of
weeks ago. if you are a guy who is willing to restore then this would be
a god car to do it with. Its a 1970 GS Stage 1 455 .Color ...Brown

    The e-bay one was silver.

The e-bay one was silver, Not the red one on there with the GSX stripes
    and the 71 rear bumper.

How bad is PDXMike's and what is asking for it? Ernie's is nice and I am thinking about it.

    Thanks

I am not having any luck finding a 70' Stage 1 so I am now considering other years.
