I would like to know if anyone out their has a 1970 stage 1 4spd car and
would be interested in a trade for my 1970 chevelle Ls6.My car has no
motor or tranny and is completely apart. This is one clean car,it is
stripped down to bare metal with original rust free floors, trunk and quarters.
It has not been on the road since 1982 and is in storage. The car was ordered
green with the stripe delete option, black interior.I have the build sheet.I do
not have the funds to complete this car and would like a nice driver.Anyone
    that can help,please contact me.
    Thank you.

ps. this was a four speed car!

    Hey Stage1less-

Welcome to the V8Buick site. It's a great place to learn about these cars and also a great place to make lasting friendships that go way beyond cars.

As you can tell, there is some serious Buick loyalty here. I'll bet if a Buick guy went to a Chevelle forum, similiar responses would be given. That being said, you might be better off selling your LS6 through one of the Chevelle sites and then looking for a stage 1 4-speed as separate transactions. Whatever you do, make sure you educate yourself on how to determine a legit stage 1 from a skylark clone. Lots of people here will help you if you have questions about a particular car you are looking at.

Post some pics of your LS6 and also let us know your first name! :TU:

    Jim-

I am definitely interested in your party. I understand everybody had a great time last year! I don't think I'll be bringing my '71X, however. It's in almost as many pieces as is possible. But if you don't mind a '66 Wildcat, I'll be there with that! :TU:

Nice job converting your neighbor! Looking forward to meeting you, John!

    Trade Off

Any prospects on the original engine and transmission? This car is not worth the big money with out the the drive line. The only plus is the model year and title, AL.

I am interested in purschasing your LS6 Chevelle. PM me, or email me at landshark454@ yahoo.com
I can buy outright, or if interested, I have a frame off restored 71 SS454 Monte Carlo, or an original big block, 4 speed 70 Momte, also completely restored. It has a 70 LS5 4 speed CRT code Chevelle engine in it, but I have all of the original parts.
    I also have a 67 GS 400 convertible, with a fresh 71 GS 455 engine, if interested.
    Let me know. Rich

p.s. It does not matter if it is a Buick, a Chevy, a Ford, or a Mopar. A cool car is a cool car. Fanatics, with their narrow vision, only limit their own enjoyment.

While I agree with this comment totally, I suspect there are others here that will provide the narrow visioned arguement. I can honestly say, if the right Hemi Barracuda came along, my GS tube car would be gone faster than pimp on saturday night sting. And thats BARRAcuda NOT !!!! Cuda'.

REALLYYYYYYYY ???? Got any pix of it you could post ?
