'70 SP Worth?

As some of you may know, I acquired an SP motor a few months ago and I got to thinking, what is the going price for these, running? It's apart right now so it's basically only worth parts I imagine. Stock heads, stock virgin block. I assume stock cam, no markings or anything on it. Had a re-ring job done possibly in the 1980s, which is what I'm gonna do again here soon. The plan was originally just to get a "ran when removed" motor, freshen it up, and plop it into my Regal to make it go until such a time I can repair my '76 motor (spun #7), and get some aluminum heads on 'er. This motor ended up needing a bit more than that after sitting for 30 years, and I got to thinking, what is an SP motor worth? The only parts that aren't original 1970 that I can tell is the fuel pump and maybe the distributor. The block is Sp 252.. what is that? 252nd day of 1970? Or the 25th of the 2nd month? The motor would be sold without a carb (don't have the original), but be otherwise complete intake to pan, waterpump to flexplate (it's got a wobble to it, but I'd include it anyway), and manifold to manifold with the hard to find (for some reason) throttle cable bracket. Now this doesn't mean I want to sell it now, I at least want to get it running and see hwo she does first so I know whoever I might sell it to won't get an "it might work" engine. Any input is appreciated.

Alternatively, I was thinking of just stowing the motor away after I get my 76 motor redone and finding a decent '70 GS350 to drop it into. I know it won't be matching numbers, but I've spied a couple larks here and there I could grab for cheap.

You'll have more $ in freshening up then you could get, but I would say around $300/500
