My Lady is selling her 1970 Skylark Custom 2 door. She bought it from the original owner, an elderly woman, in 97. It is Autumn Gold, with an Ivory bench seat interior.

It has a 350 4bbl, with 350 turbo. It has cold air conditioning, power steering and brakes, power seat, power windows, tilt wheel, and speed alert. It is an early build, and has the pointed lenses in the dash, and 2 piece rotors.

Though the car has a lot of miles, about 170,000, it is solid, and is still complete. The only thing it is missing is the little plastic elbow fitting that was mounted in the end of the air cleaner snorkel, for the vapor canister. It still has the cardboard spare cover.

The car is originally from California, and now lives in Southwest Colorado. It has not been east of the Rockies. The body is very straight for the most part, with a couple of minor dings. There are no holes in the body, but there is a small area behind each rear wheel that is showing rust. The paint is sunbaked on the hood and trunk, and the tan vinyl top is cooked. The grille is cracked, but all there. The interior will need seat covers, a package shelf cover, and a headliner. The trunk has surface rust, but the last time I checked, it was still solid.

The drivetrain works fine, though the engine has a valve tap that comes and goes. Recently, (the last several months), only when hot, in gear at idle, the oil light comes on, though it does not get noisey, or cause any problems. The car is still being driven over 50 miles daily, with no problems. It runs and drives fine.

She is asking $1970.00. We would consider bringing it to you, depending on location, for expenses.
