70 SF 455 motor + $$$ for strong 455 It has been awhile since I posted, It is amazing how a baby can change your priorities around! I picked up a 70 SF 455 1231786 heads pulled it out of a GS myself a couple years ago thought it was an original gs motor and it has the support bracket for the GS air cleaner and a stage one fuel pump, The story was the car ran great but the body had rotted away and it sat for about 15 years and is stuck. So now the motor sits on a stand in my garage all the numbers matched when I checked them when I picked up the engine. My car right now has an olds 455 in it which is stock and is not cutting it for me. I realize my dream of having the time to build this 70 motor for my 70 ragtop is not going to happen. I would love to see someone who needs a 70 motor who has what it takes to resuurect it have it. I am looking for a strong running buick 455 of any year that can get me into the 13's. I don't want to part the motor out and can wait for someone who wants to take me up on it. I can put up some money with the motor, just not break the bank.
