Our '70 Riviera Electric Fuel Pump won't go. It looks as though it has been set up with a 3 pole switch in the trunk for security I suppose, because one of the switch ways isolates the pump. The pump goes if it is jumpered, but obviously a fuse has blown. We don't know where the fuses are located. Can anyone help? Or does anyone know where the power is sourced from?
I must say I was surprised that it had an electric pump, is this stock?

1969 and 1970 model year Riviera came with an electric fuel pump.

There is an inline fuse in the wiring harness that runs along the firewall in the area of the power brake booster.
Also, it is controlled by the oil pressure sending unit so that in case the car is involved in an accident and the engine kills, the pump won't continue to pump fuel.
No signal from the sending unit, no fuel.

    Check those out.

    Hi
I have checked out the wiring area around the brake booster, cannot find a fuse, except in the fuse box marked fuel pump which is ok. There is not voltage at the point, so went to the oil pressure sender, there was no voltage coming out of that with the engine running (with a jumper wire), so with the spares that came with the car was another sender, so fitted that but no difference. We do not have a wiring diagram of the engine area, we have a fisher body manual, which has a wiring diagram which shows the fuel pump feed wire, and what seems to be the safety isolation wire as well.
Does anyone have a shop manual wiring diagram of the body intergration of the fuel pump wiring that they can pdf, or photograph so we can get our auto electrician to sort it out. They just want to put a new wire in, but I want to keep it tidy and original.
