I ordered door and quarter panels from Legendary. I did not need seat covers because they had been redone by the previous owner and are still in good shape. Even though the panels and seats are "pearl white," the seats have more of a "yellow" tint to them. Has anyone run across this issue? Is it possible one vendor's "pearl white" is different from another (e.g. PUI vs. Legendary)? Could age have played a role in the "yellowing" of the seats? Assuming the panels are the correct color, my only other option is buying seat covers to match. Thanks
Frequent problem with pearl interior when you do not change all the pieces at once. The only choice is to keep going withe new or to dye the new stuff or the old stuff. SEM is my choice.
Like he said order the same from Legendary and hope it matches. The pearl is different according to the batch of material used. John
Like "they" said. Try ordering a few boots to match, 10 years after a resto and see which one matches best! Mike Aumann
many of the companies will send you a sample of the material before you order for free, or a very low cost, is this still possible or is it too late for that? -nate
I got a sample prior to ordering the parts and the color was close. When I received the parts, I checked them against the seats and, again, the color was close. Now that the panels are installed, one can see a difference most noticeably with the top down. I am going to call Legendary but I'll probably have to go with new seat covers. Thanks for everyone's help!
