    It's amazing how oversized rims and tires add $18K to a realistic price?

    That's was my first thought; $20,000 would buy ten LeSabres (I would be glad to have 1)
    What if, he had spent the money on the tie rods, kept the original rims on the car. He'd have enough left over to; buy another LeSabre!

    I guess it's pretty obvious why the tie rods are bad.

    If I had to guess I'd say the tie rod ends need to be replaced with longer ones in order to work with the car jacked up that high. I'll bet there is a ton of toe-in with the stock ones. If he's serious about selling the car he better put $18,000 cash in the glove compartment.
