    Sweet! :TU:

Wonder if it's real. I don't suppose it'll be too long before the VIN shows up in this thread with a detailed analysis. :pp

Too bad it looks like something was bouncing around in the trunk and beat up the drivers side quarter though. :(

ive been looking at the gsx decal on the left rear quarter panel. its not in the correct spot. it could still be a real gsx and someone could of done a shoddy job putting the decal on.

It's real - the owner says

I spoke with the owner today on the car. It is a real QQ code car according to him. Had a tool box in the trunk bounce around on the way to a car show once - too bad.
Asking price is 25k without the original drivetrain...........

    GStage1 Always looking for parts!

Ok, let's start the bidding idea/thoughts on this car. We need everyone's input. $25k for a GSX with non-original parts, notice the rad hose hook is missing, alternator is a late model unit, master cylinder looks like the wrong one, ac compressor is missing. Wonder how many other parts are wrong/incorrect. $25k????? I am going to say a fair price is $16-18k.

Was he road racing the car before going to the show? That did some funky damage to the car. I wonder what rust issues the car has, or what is hiding.

I think you are right on the money George.

What would a numberd car fetch in this condition? It needs Paint, and some general clean up. I see putting a easy 10 geebos into this car to make it clean and right, and you still end up with a non numbered car.
As you all know I have been looking for a GSX and have found quite a few. My call on this car is 15k tops. , I base my opinion on what I know I can go buy a done car for. This car clean should be a 23k tops car.

This is only my opinion on what I would be willing to pay for this particular, someone else may pay more. I would rate this car as a nice driver from what I can tell.

I think 15-18 thou sounds about in the ballpark. Lets see though. In the past few months weve seen 2 ratty GSX's for sale. One brought 15 grand and needed a body, the other just sold for 12,500. Even though 15-18 thou is prob a good guesstimate as a "real world" price, Ive yet to see an unrestored one sell for a reasonable price. My opinion is that this car will meet the reserve and then some. Seems the only ones that are reasonably priced are the done ones.

I agree with you guys 15-18K for this car sounds fair.
Does anyone know what it's original drivetrain was?
It is probably a non-stage auto air car
