I stopped by Classic Motors once when I first moved here. They are high priced on everything. The reason is because most of their vehicles are consignments. The 70 GS has been sitting on their lot since at least Mar 07 when I first moved here. I think back then they wanted 12,500. She tried to convince me that it was a super rare car and I was getting it for a steal.
I've been driving by that lot for years on my yearly austin trip, and usually stop by that lot on my way back. They've had that g.s a fairly long time. It wouldn't be a bad starting point for a project, but as proud of it as they are you could find one that was in 100x better shape.
