Kind of pricey, but they don't come cheap.

ITs awesome that they go for more than I'm trying to sell my car for.

I can just see it now, one of these days i'll probably have a few chevelles and old camaros in my garage, these buick parts are getting pricey, and with little to no vendors for body parts, its just too expensive. Don't get me wrong, I love buicks, but the parts are too pricey, one of these days buicks will be a rich man's hobby. Hopefully it won't become one, because im definetly not a rich man. :pp

I'm not sure what the difference is but YearOne is selling them for $650. I'm not exactly rainman but $650 plus shipping or $1450, I know which I would choose.

The parts place is re-producing them complete (correctly painted) with studs for 399 plus shipping. The days of 1400 bucks for a NIB grille are numbered.

But if your doing a concours restoration....I am glad they are reproing them but it still isn't the same as an original grille.Ther will always be someone who wants a correct original instead of a knock-off.There isn't anything wrong with a knock-off in my opinion.I will see what a repro vs original looks like as soon as TPP's arrives, then I'll have a better idea then.

I guess it is a good thing that they are being repo'd, 1000 plus is quite a bit of $$$ for a grille, although it isn't anything new, since they have been selling for around what the price is on the ebay item. If someone wants it bad enough they'll buy it I guess! :Comp:

I guess that I had better get to selling mine then huh?

Mine was new in the box a couple of years ago. My dad got it right before he retired from GM, for something like $99.

I have thought about selling mine to someone who wants and exact NOS part, and getting a repro part for me and making some $$ off it. My car will never be a show car and will get a few miles put on her, once she is put back together. I just can't see having a $1400 grill on my car when I can sell mine, get a repro, and come out with $800 to put into it somewhere else.
