where should I try for clear glass ? need windshield, rear glass, and quarter window.Have been told, rear glass replacements were made wrong, made like a bubble. Also only tinted available. I never thought it would be this hard to get. Is the windshield and side glass the same as a chevelle?

It is very hard to find clear glass i searched for months. I ended up with nice used clear glass. It was PPG not LOF.

I thought places like parts place inc had the glass now, or is that only tinted? Also the rear window will look bubbled if its put in upside down, other than that never heard anything bad. Friend has rear window (repro, and tinted) in his 72 coupe, looks fine.

I bought quarters for my vert from auto city classic (I believe it was). Nice pieces.

If you don't need new, I have lots of clear glass on the farm, and of course George has everything!!

to answer the questions,I have the original window sticker not showing tinted glass. Also I wasn't going to change all the glass. I'm trying to upgrade the car by eliminating any imperfections.Being the car is worth making right. 1970 GSX stage 1 4 speed.

    Mike,
If you are trying to make it correct then you need LOF and not PPG glass.

Originality is "good" A hot black interior on a 90 degree July day is "bad". Besides cooking you just think what it is doing to ruin the nice GSX interior with clear glass. Think it over real good. The original clear glass can be saved and put away and you will always have it. I think there is a company that makes correct etchings and date codes for glass so you can have the best of both worlds, tinted and date codes.

    Engie,
If you sent funds by US mail, start a fraud claim with them. Threaten them with this action. The FBI will get involved since this is an interstate crime and they do not take this issue lightly. Also, have a friendly lawyer write them a letter that pending a quick delivery you will proceed with federal and personal actions to get this issue resolved as you have been patient as patient can be and that this business experience is not to be tolerated.
