Surprised this hasn't been discussed yet. Looks and sounds good but expected price is in la-la land. Any thoughts? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Buick-Other-GS455-Convertible/221784891378 John
Surprising someone paid a little more than that at BJ in 2012. http://www.barrett-jackson.com/Archive/Event/Item/1970-BUICK-GS-CONVERTIBLE-116001
Wow! I realize that this is a numbered car but it's still not a Stage1. Isn't that a premium for a non-Stage1 car? Even in the condition it appears to be in. I would love to have it but not at this price. You gotta know that those big auction houses draw in the people that have money to burn and will pay anything for something if they really want it even if it's not a sound investment. Just Saying..........And asking............ John
Looks pretty good to me. Could you build a driver GS455 convertible (what, $20000?) that nice for another 25K or so? Maybe, but barely.
