What's wrong with this car, except that it has a Riviera engine and not a compleet gril? Is that the reason why it's not have higher bids? o No: KLICK ON THE PICTURE^^
Hello Bart.. that is about the going rate for a 1970gs small block...Yes it not having the original engine hurts it a bit...I think also because it is a bench seat column car and not a bucket seat floor console car.. When it comes to small block cars they are more for keeping and enjoying then selling and making money..Randy
That's what I was thinking. It's seems to me a nice car. What are you guys think about the car? It's sloan documented.
Well, the auction says the Sloan documentation says it's not a stage 1. I don't quite see the point of touting the Sloan docs if they show the car is not what it appears to be. It does appear to be a pretty nice car with a couple of small issues. If the engine has 1200 miles on it, don't you think the oil filter would have been changed?
Just another case of the GS blues . The car needs a 455 , it needs buckets , it needs to be a real stage 1, it needs to be any color except bamboo creme . With a Stage 1 4 spd going to the 6 figures you would think that the rest of the GS market would go up too . I was just looking at a 70 GS 455 thats non matching numbers for less than 9 G's no bids . I bet a 69 C
This car has been on ebay more times than I can count on one hand over the last year or two. Not sure why it never sells, but it sure makes me wonder?
I noticed that too. The filter still has the paint on it from the motor being painted. ou: With 1200 since the rebuild, shouldn't it have a new filter by now? o No: Dan :3gears:
