70 GS 455 non Stage I carb for automatic. The 70 car I have brought home over the summer has a 70 4speed Chevelle carb on it...interesting, but not correct. Now I have ot find out if the Chevelle guys need a 70 date coded carb for a Chevelle also...in the meantime, I need a 70 GS carb
I may have a E coded carb from a 70. I will be back Monday and will pull numbers if you still need the carb.
The E code is indicative of plant correct? My car is a KC plant, needing a 704024(even number here for last digit)
E code stands for May production. I have a 455 pan to carb engine. I have never looked at the carb numbers. I also have a white new uninstalled white convertible top that I do not need. FYI
awesome...how much and who would be the best for rebuilding. Fred Catlin used to do my old ones and they worked great, but I didn't knwo if he was still around.
not sure if this is what you need or not, but is listed in the local craigslist here. http://nh.craigslist.org/pts/427543683.html
