Local u-pull-it yard has a very rough 70 Electra conv. Car is white w/red int. No engine or trans, open rear, missing seat belts, missing lift cylinders and pump motor, good for minor trim, missing front bumper emblem, car has a tilt wheel, missing orig radio. Top mechanism appears to be in decent shape, has large alum frt drums (don't know if they are scored or not since I did not remove them). Also, another car, 68 Olds, has a set of Buick rallye wheels for full size. I don't know if they are any good since it is in the processing area and it is hard to see the wheels. Darn it George, you knew I was going to ask about that front bumper emblem! Somewhere on the face of this earth is an original front bumper emblem for my car. Before I die, I'm going to find that emblem! If the front drums are decent, I'd like them. Any idea on the price? I realize that shipping is extra. Thanks for your help. Paul
Hey George,that car has electric doorlocks and seatback release.Skirts and hood look good,too. Top bows and header look rust free. They just got a 65 Caddi convert. in the yard,too. A 72 Cutlass 4dr smashed in the front w/some good wheelwell moldings,350,auto,a/c!
Thanks Ted, I will check it out. I believe the pdl are gone. I will confirm it on Friday. The interior is rough. I thought someone would have take the top mechanism but I guess there is no interest in it.
Yeah,at least someone should get the header as they are always rusted out . I grabbed the complete top assembly off of the 65 Cadillac,since it had excellent white top w/glass. Gotta put it on a '66 Cadi that I need to get rid of. The front drums were still on the Buick as of today.
So this car has electric door locks? I'd be interested in those if they work (or look like they're in good enough shape to be working.) How much would you want for them? zip 60402

Paul, Alum drums are shot. Romy, PDL set-up was missing driver's side solenoid and wiring was butchered. Header was rusted in more places than I can count. Car is very very rusty
