Pretty sweet car. I'm thinning the herd, but I don't think I have enough herd to thin to pay for this car.

That car has just about everything going for it...:TU:

In todays market it should draw some real attention.

Must be a real old car a build date of 5/18 according to the door sticker.

Four days to go and its at $46K. Anyone care to venture a guess as to what the reserve is set at?

Not taking a thing away from the car or Jeff's fine work, but I think he will own it a while at that money. The two fresh white X cars at BJ Scottsdale just kissed 100K. However they were automatic cars with air. It's still a buyers market.

As a far as rarity goes this car is it.
An Apollo white 1970 Stage 1 4 speed NON AC with 3:64 axle GSX is the car to have.
Maybe a dozen built like this ensuring Zenith Performance
It is worth his asking price
Difficult car to find intact as a car like this when new would have been beaten to death :3gears:

John, the car is not located near you, the dealer is near you thats selling it although. The car is actually south of Minny about 4-5 hours away.
heres the salesmans ad, just ask for Mr. Krook:Brow:

In this market and based on what i saw selling at Barrett Jackson in Jan, I'd guess this car will bid up to ~70-80k mark on ebay, can't see it selling or meeting the reserve I hope he gets what he wants although,

This car should bring more than the cars at Barrett. This is one of a VERY FEW cars that people may look back on and say I should have bought it in the spring of 2010.

Is the "Clown Suit" really worth a 60-70 K over a similar Stage 1 4 speed. Just ask'in.

    BadBrad Got 4-speed?

Yup. But "worth" and "value" have different definitions, IMO.
