I wasn't certain where to put this information, and if the moderator sees fit to move it, please do so. I had hoped that it would be helpful to those doing Concourse Resto work. I hope others will expand on this info as well.
I pulled the original driveline out of my GSX in 1986 after I spun a bearing. Lately I have entertained the idea of putting it back in the car, so got the trans out of storage to clean it up. Please see the attached photos. They show some of the original stampings and paint markings on various components.
The original tag is in an orange color (or call it peach if you will).

Inside the bellhousing are some paint markings in green. I couldn't make out what it said, and when I started to clean, the markings began to disappear. So I stopped and took the pic..

I pulled the pan to replace the filter and found more green paint splotches as indicated by the arrows.

Another green splotch was found on the torque converter. Note also that the converter is stamped BB.

    Jim,

Is that a BB stamped into the convertor?

Does the convertor have 3 mounting lugs or 6?
