Did 70 GS's have padded or non padded A-Pillar trim? Or was it a trim level specific item? I ask because my 70 had plain metal non padded trim pieces. The used interior I bought came with padded covers and they don't fit very well. :Do No:

The A-Pillar trim was not padded for any interior level. Painted metal.

Thanks Brad...That's probably why they don't fit very well :Dou: I'll put my originals back on..

    Thanks

Paded/vinyl A-pillar covers were for 68-9 Skylarks. The convertible versions are close but have a small "V" notch in them to allow clearance for the top "J" hook

There ya have it...I just saw the convt pieces today and mine do not have the v notch. They must be for another year or car.
    Thanks Guys :TU:
