Im looking to get some nicer side windows and maybe even front and back window glass since mine have alot of scatches on them. Anyone have some nice Glass? Ive heard that windows from a chevelle will fit as well..i dunno, any truth to this? Thanks-Ray
I believe that I have a complete set of side windows from a 1970 skylark, non-tinted with most/all hardware in very nice shape. Did you want tinted or non-tinted? PM me so I don't lose you or this thread.

Our local glass supplier will sell us new PPG door glass for around $125 to $150 each, and a PPG windshield would run around $100 - $125. A company by the name of Iowa Auto Glass sells reproduction glass for pretty reasonable prices. The door glass, quarter glass, and windshields are the same on 70-2 Chevelles.
Does PPG new glass have the correct "Safety Glass" logos? If I was doing new glass I'd want the right logos on it if they can be found. Any repros on this?
Do you have a contact number for this company? Ill hunt around to see if i can find it. Im not too concerned about original or not, as long as its nice glass. :beer
The new PPG glass has the new style logo like you would find on late model vehicles. But if you want to spend more money, you can buy actual LOF glass (which is the original supplier ) from Pilkington. They will also put the original logos and date codes on for an additional charge.
I checked my glass and it is not perfect. Sorry. It's driver quality. I guess you'll have to try one of the other guys here or buy new.
Guys, Different production plants used different glass manufacturers. For the 70-72 Buick A-body cars both LOF and PPG glass was used, so you need to determine which glass type was used for your car, or you could end up paying good money for the wrong Logo. I just finished an article for the BPG newsletter that explains all this. The next newsletter is at the printers so it will be out in the following issue. Duane
Im looking for non-tinted, but the glass has to be in mint condition. Ill probably get all new glass at this point, but let me know what you have-Thanks-Ray
