    Hi

I need the heater control cable closest to the heater core. This cable controls the amount heat the interior gets. It's a two piece cable and I only need the piece that connect to the interior heater box at the top. The one I have broke where the bracket connects to the heater box.

Did you check the resto companies catalogs? I think I may have seen these listed as repros somewhere.

I only see the one piece cable. The Buick Cables are two pieces. The cable I need is only about 6-12" long.

    Hi

I believe it's red. It's just behind the glove box.

Red tab mounts are for AC cars.
    Non-ac use black tabs.

My GS is all original with only 62K miles. I just went back and checked my heater box cables. One is red which controls the temperture and measures about 24". The other on is green that controls heater or defrost. They are both two pieces and the one I need is the red one.

this is interesting i have a `70 air with one end black (under glove box) and the other end red that is 22 inches long ( the red end is broken and looks different i dont think this is the right cable so my first question at the end is redudant i think) / a `70 air with two ends red 19 and a half inches and one from a non air with red on both ends cable that is 24 inches long and on the nonair i have a blue and a green which go to the heat defrost selector switch so if i had a question why do i have two different lengths on my air cables that go from the dash to the heater box? after all the stupid stuff arent the heater box ends red with different lengths and the heat /defrost ones the blue and green ends?? 19+1/2 for air (red ends) and 24 for non-air (red ends) george if you can follow this am i right?
