I need to add 2 things here; 1. If you use the revision dates on the assembly manual pages, you will know exactly what parts were used on your car when it was built, as the pages list the changes. The service manuals were developed for the start of the model year, so often you will find pictures/drawings from the previous model year thrown in. and 2, I am finishing up my Victorian house and moving. For at least the next 4 months I will hardly be around and will most likely not be able to answer many questions, or print any new books. I will also be listing/selling some parts and literature I have laying around that I will not be moving. Some of those pieces may just be interesting, but I will post them when I get around to it. I may even sell a car. Duane
Hi Duane, If you have any of these manual for 1972 GS models please let us know, I am interested and could definitely use one during a restoration project. Thank you
Duane, First congratulations on finishing your Victorian house. Send me some photos some time. Also I would be interested in a 1971 manual. Thanks Zach
Zach, The house is turning out great, but it’s like pulling teeth trying to get everything done. Everything they did with building the original house and addition are great, but the things that were added later all needed reworked. I can pretty much tell when things were done during the depression times, when people did not have any money. I am probably still a good 4 months out from having moved and getting the house done. Especially after being sick for the last week getting over the stomach flu. I am up and about now but feel like the turtle in the race. It’s a good thing I retired in Nov. It would have taken me 10 years to finish this if I was working full time. Once we get the majority of the furniture and boxes out I will send you some pics. Duane
