    I though big blocks were either U (455) or V ( Stage 1 ) in 72. Whats a Q Code ?

    GStage1 Always looking for parts!

    You are correct....either a U or V code in 1972

    RapidRick Can't spell Buick w/o U+I

no "Q" code to be found in '72?....

I emailed him and he stated he was "mixed up" with the numbers and that it is a real stage 1 car with original motor, trans. He sounds a little strange to me. I will not be bidding any more. It would be nice if somebody local could just go and purchase the car but I feel a little strange taking this guys "word for it"...........

Considering what he did to me I think that is a wise choice.

Sounds like he's still a little mixed up as its not a Stage 1

...And the blue "BB" tag indicates that the tranny is a later model and not a Stage 1 unit.
