'70 4spd GS in Maryland restorable

    I just spotted a '70 GS 455 4 speed on ebay at $100 to start.
    Looks restorable. Sorry for not posting a link.

    I saw that too and it says it it a 4 speed Hurst car but it has an auto console but does have a clutch pedal.Appears to be something strange with the auction but maybe not.

    ASSuming the link above is the same car, and that there are not two or more 4-speed cars that have automatic consoles, I'd say the line in the description that says "He had the 4 spd taken out (4-spd pedals are still there), and had an automatic installed." would explain why it looks strange.

    it was very common to take out the 4 speed in favor of an automatic. The previous owner probably got tired of breaking stuff or changing clutches

    That part about the auto swap was not there when I read it the first time,sorry.

    Looks like it has the optional Olds 4 spoke sport steering wheel.
